The safe Black Russia download comes from four official places only: Google Play, the Apple App Store, RuStore, and the APK button on the official "how to start" page (Как начать играть) at blackrussia.online/start. The game is free, in Russian, and runs on Android and iPhone. Install it, sign in with an email, pick a server and create a character.
This page is based on the official start page, the three store listings, the official knowledge base (База знаний) and the official Telegram channel, all checked on 2026-10-21. Versions, sizes and requirements change with updates and differ by country, so treat the numbers as a dated snapshot.

On Android, a store install is simplest because the store handles updates. If you need the APK, tap the button on the official start page rather than reusing a direct file link. For iPhone the start page offers only the App Store; there is no official IPA file.
The Brazilian edition, with its own Portuguese-language RIO server, has a separate official site at black-russia.com. This page covers the Russian-language servers.

The knowledge base article on supported devices still lists Android 7.0 and iOS 13 as the minimum, but the current listings ask for iOS 15.0 and Android 8 (read 2026-10-21). Go by the store listing. If your device is not compatible, the knowledge base advises updating the operating system or using another device; for low FPS or overheating, close background apps and turn off GPS, Bluetooth and VPN.

How to install and start playing
- Install BLACK RUSSIA from one of the options above and open it.
- Pick a sign-in method. Email is the main one: enter the address, type in the confirmation code from the letter, then create a password in Latin letters, longer than 8 characters, with digits and capital letters.
- Choose your server with the arrow button in the bottom-left corner of the main screen. Characters are kept per server, so compare servers on the server list first.
- Enter a first name and surname in Latin letters, no more than 19 characters together, tap «Начать играть» and pick a gender. Gender cannot be changed later.
- At the train station, Дядя Слава offers a tutorial. Take it if you are new, then read the beginner guide.
If a friend invited you, the start page says to enter their nickname and tap «Продолжить» for prizes; otherwise tap «Пропустить». One account can hold up to three characters on each server.
Guest mode («Я гость») puts you on a random server and lets you reach level 2. Until you bind an email you cannot change server or name, join factions, create a family, trade or take part in Black Pass.
Old characters and the new authorization
Under the new authorization (Новая авторизация), you can attach an older nickname-and-password character to your email account: choose its server, tap «Привязать» and enter the old nickname and password. A typo or the wrong server gives «Ошибка базы данных»; a character binds to only one account, with no re-binding. To switch it on, the knowledge base points to Settings → Безопасность → Информация, then a restart. The official Telegram channel announced it for Google Play and RuStore users on 1 October 2026 and for iOS on 8 October, and the 15 October update made «Авторизация 2.0» the default for new players. Never give your email code to anyone.

"Not available in your country" and region fixes
If a store says the app is not available in your country or region, or you cannot find BLACK RUSSIA in the App Store, the knowledge base says to switch the store region to Russia or another CIS country.
- App Store: tap the account icon, scroll down and sign out, sign in again, open Country/Region (Страна/Регион) and choose Russia or a CIS country.
- Google Play: profile icon → Settings → General → Account and device preferences → Country and profiles, then add a payment method for that country. The change can take up to 48 hours, and Google Play allows it only once a year.
A foreign store region also leaves the in-game donate shop empty.

Fixing launch and login problems

PacketLoss should stay at zero, and a ping above 100 can cause freezes and disconnects. If no server opens on an update morning, check t.me/br_dev before reinstalling. Otherwise, use the support chat on the official website or the support bot @br_techBot.

Updating the game
Store installs update like any other app: turn on auto-update or tap Update on the store page. If you use the APK, get newer builds only from the official start page.
Bigger updates come with server downtime announced in the official Telegram channel: on 15 October 2026 the servers went down from 07:00 MSK and reopened the same morning, and App Store version 1.98.0 came out that day. The Halloween season «Продавец Кошмаров» is announced to start on 22 October 2026; see /updates.

Avoid unofficial APKs and "free donate" mods
Searches like "black russia apk" or "скачать бесплатно" lead to mirror sites with re-uploaded files. Stick to the four official options.
- You cannot check a re-upload. A mirrored file may be modified, and a fake "launcher" that asks for your email code or password can steal your account.
- "Free donate" does not exist. Modded builds, "unlimited BC" apps and BC generators are scams. BC (BLACK COINS) is bought on the official top-up page or earned in game; see the donate guide.
- Mods break the rules. Rule 2.22 bans keeping, using or sharing third-party software that gives an advantage and any change to the original game files (Ban 15–30 days or PermBan). Buying or selling game currency for real money is a PermBan with an account reset under rule 2.28. See the rules guide.

Playing on a computer
As of 2026-10-21 there is no official PC client. The developers discussed the PC version in development in an official video on 25 September 2026, with no release date announced. Emulators are not banned by the rules, says the knowledge base, but may slow the game and are not guaranteed to work. Any "PC launcher" on other sites is unofficial. See the PC guide.

Can I play Black Russia on iPhone ("black russia на айфон")?

An iOS loading error. Update the game manually from its App Store page; if it continues while your App Store region is the USA, change the region.
