The Black Russia driving school (Автошкола) is in the town of Лыткарино. You pick a license category, pass a 15-question theory test with at least 13 correct answers (11 questions for boats), then drive a timed practical route. Below are the official prices and rules, plus the category B answers shown in a dated July 2026 player video.

The developers do not publish the question list, questions differ between attempts, and prices or wording can change with updates, so treat the answers as a study aid.

Where the driving school is and what to do first
The school is in Лыткарино (see the map guide). Pick Автошкола in the map legend, track the car icon with a graduation cap, or type /gps and choose Важные места → Автошкола.
Pay your fines first: the game checks at the entrance and blocks the exams until they are cleared. At any ATM choose Оплата штрафов → Оплата всех штрафов. Two 2026 creator videos say an ATM stands right by the school.
Inside, enter a classroom, go to the pickup truck labeled "Экзамен автошколы" and press the interaction button. Pick a category and press Продолжить. Categories you already hold are locked.

License categories and exam prices
The official driving license article lists five categories:

All five cost 32,000 game rubles in total, and a failed attempt is not refunded. The knowledge base also lists category B as an entry requirement for the army, ГИБДД, УМВД, ФСИН, ФСБ and the hospital. See the jobs list and the factions overview.
Editorial tip (as of October 2026): take B first. It costs little and unlocks the most jobs and factions above.

How the theory test works
After you choose a category, the game shows reference material: traffic rules (ПДД), road signs and the vehicle controls. Read it. The fee is charged only when you press Начать.
- 15 questions (11 for water transport), 4 options each, one correct answer.
- You pass with at least 13 of 15 correct, so two mistakes are allowed. The knowledge base gives no separate pass mark for the water test.
- In the July 2026 video below, a 15-minute countdown and a counter of correct answers sit in the lower left corner.
- Question types there: "Что означает знак, отображенный на картинке?" (what does the sign mean) and "За что отвечает данная кнопка?" (what does this button do).

Category B answers seen in a July 2026 video
On July 30, 2026, creator МАКСОНchek uploaded a category B theory run. We checked it frame by frame on October 21, 2026: the correct-answer counter rose after each of the first 14 picks, and the 15th pick led straight to the pass screen. Answers are the game's wording, shortened:

Other topics from a May 2026 video
In a May 5, 2026 video, creator RUDI narrates a different category B set, so the pool is larger than 15. New topics: the bus or taxi stop sign (cars may not stop closer than 15 m), the expressway sign (minimum 40, maximum 110), a height-limit sign, a no-parking sign and starting the engine (on-screen hint or radial menu). He says the radial menu opens when you press and hold on the vehicle or the middle of the screen, which differs from the July answer, so read all four options every time.

The practical exam
Hints appear on the right and a timer runs in the lower left corner.
- Practice pad: follow the markings and do the turns, parking, braking and reversing, using turn signals and lights.
- City route: switch on the headlights through the radial menu to leave the pad, then follow the markers through town and obey the traffic rules.
- Water transport: drive the route through markers on the water.
The knowledge base says mistakes give warnings but do not end the exam if you follow the instructions and finish in time. RUDI adds that touching cones is not penalized but you must not leave the pad, and that you must stop at the STOP sign. He and VITALIK INTELEGENT (September 29, 2026 video) both say the city part forgives a few errors, such as a missed turn signal, but fails you at five. A fail means no license and no refund.

Buying licenses instead

/liclistshows licensers online and their contacts. Agree on a category by phone and buy in person in the Правительство (government) building, or go there and find a free licenser. Weapon license (лицензия на оружие)
The official weapon license article says it is used in ГИБДД, УМВД, ФСБ, ФСИН, the army, ОПГ, and the Инкассатор and Охотник jobs.
- Requirements: level 4, 30,000 rubles in cash for the fee, and law-abidingness (законопослушность) of 70 or more. A December 20, 2025 patch note set the minimum to −70 instead, so check what the game shows.
- Where:
/gps→ Важные места → Правительство, then the red marker «Получение лицензии на оружие». Pay and the license is issued at once. - It disappears after 30 days, when your character is wounded and taken to hospital, when admins remove it for rule breaking, or when law-abidingness drops below −500.

Keeping your license
Driving licenses last 30 days, then you take every stage again. You also lose your license if:
- 3 or more fines stay unpaid within 24 hours of getting them;
- you reach 10 fines (instant loss, and you are pulled out of the vehicle);
- ГИБДД officers catch you breaking the law and take it.
Fines come from red lights (400 rubles) and ГИБДД radars. To get it back, pay all fines and retake the exam. Check your categories and expiry dates via Меню → Общение → Передать лицензии, or /lic with a player ID.
