The official job list has 22 Black Russia jobs (работы), each unlocked at a set character level: from the factory, mine, farm and nightclub at level 1 to the diver (Водолаз) at level 18. Most jobs above level 2 also need a driver's license, and a few need a medical card or a weapon license. Since the 1 October 2026 update, pay rises with your character level, so leveling up is the main way to earn more.
This page is based on the official knowledge base (its job list and one article per job) and the official Telegram channel, checked on 2026-10-21. Pay differs by server and changes with updates. Most job articles were last edited between May and early August 2026, before the October raise, so we don't print salaries we can't date.

How to get a job (как устроиться)
- In the navigator's map legend, choose the Работы (Jobs) category, tap the job icon and press Отслеживать (Track). Or type /gps and pick Работы для новичков or Основные работы (see the map guide).
- No car? Rent a scooter at any parking spot; the game then suggests one of the three starter jobs.
- At the workplace, talk to the foreman or the blue icon in the locker room, choose Устроиться на работу, change into the uniform and start a shift.
Exceptions: truck drivers join a transport company with /tk, must rent a company truck (personal trucks are not allowed) and take orders with /orders. Taxi drivers pick one of three companies, Ya.Taxi in Арзамас, Gtaxi in Южный or Black Taxi in Роговичи, and take orders with /tord. Cash collectors are hired when they start a shift at the bank, but can rent the service car only with a partner invited via /colinv.

How to quit a job (как уволиться)
- Most jobs: go back to the NPC or locker-room menu where you were hired. Жора at the factory, Кириллыч at the mine, Роман at the bus depot and Михалыч at the landfill handle quitting; the gas, МЧС and courier menus have a quit button.
- Taxi: type /tmenu and choose 9. Покинуть. You can work only for the company you joined, so quit before switching.
- Treasure hunter: /kleave ends the current search.
You don't have to quit to try other professions. Jobs are separate from factions, and couriers must not be in one.

Licenses and documents
- Driver's licenses: the driving school (Автошкола) in Лыткарино lists exams at A 1,500 ₽, B 2,500 ₽, C 5,000 ₽, D 3,000 ₽ and water transport 20,000 ₽; a license lasts 30 days. Job articles add that all licenses cost 150 BC in Магазин → Услуги. See the driving school guide.
- Medical card: a 5,000 ₽ exam at the hospital in Арзамас, Лыткарино or Нижегородск.
- Weapon license: at the Government building with level 4, lawfulness 70+ and a 30,000 ₽ fee. It is lost after 30 days or if your character is wounded and taken to hospital. Missing lawfulness (законопослушность) points cost 5 BC per 10 in the shop.

How pay works after the October 2026 update
A raise was announced on 30 September 2026 (br_dev/2297). The 1 October update post (br_dev/2298) says the higher your character level, the higher your income, and that many professions got higher salaries.
Skill inside each job matters too:
- Treasure hunter finds raise your hunter level and profit; electricians unlock transformer calls at rank 4.
- Fishing rods unlock better zones, from the white zone at level 3 to the gold zone at level 9; gold and purple zones need a boat.
- Taxi drivers rated 4.9+ get a 10% bonus per trip. МЧС pays more for pairs and for beating the timer.
Players set some pay: taxi companies set fares, mechanics agree prices with clients, and dancers can get tips of 100 to 100,000 ₽. For comparison, the construction article (last edited around 31 July 2026, before the raise) lists 500 ₽ per cement bag and 700 ₽ per pipe, wiring or cleanup task.

XP, PayDay and x2 weekends
- PayDay comes at the end of every hour; you get XP only if you were active at least 20 minutes that hour (faq/14). Quests (/quest) give up to 2 XP each.
- Check the XP you need in the game menu → Статистика.
- x2 promotion: every Friday 12:00 to Monday 12:00 MSK, salaries and rewards double on some jobs, XP goes up and payments give double BC (faq/51). A 24-hour x2 coupon gives the same bonuses except doubled salaries and doesn't stack with the server x2.
- Fishing events run Friday to Sunday.

Best jobs and fast money (editorial, as of October 2026)
Our opinion, based on the official ratings above:
- Levels 1–2: factory, mine or farm: low pay, but no requirements. The level 2 courier gets a free moped, so no license is needed.
- Levels 3–9: fisherman or treasure hunter, both medium profit and low difficulty with shop-bought gear. Get B and C licenses early; they unlock most later jobs.
- Level 10+: truck driver is our pick for solo players. It is the only job rated high profit with low difficulty, and it needs no other players.
- Levels 15 and 18: cash collector and diver are also high profit. The first needs a partner and risks ОПГ attacks outside green zones; the second needs the 20,000 ₽ water license and at least a motorboat.
To earn faster, work during x2 weekends, stay active 20 minutes each hour and run /quest; later a business can add income. Trading virts or selling accounts for real money breaks rules 2.28 and 2.42 and means a permanent ban.
